After completing a bank traineeship and a university degree in economics in Bonn and Frankfurt, Heike had a position as training & education manager in the HR department of a large German bank (Dresdner Bank AG) and as a lecturer at the banking academy in Frankfurt. Following some time off work for raising a family, Heike has been working in medical market research since 1997. She has a high degree of expertise and experience in interviewing methods and discussion group moderation techniques (structured interviews, telephone surveys, in‐depth interviews, laddering, projective methods, traditional group discussions, creative workshops etc.).

Heike’s focus is qualitative market research with a strong emphasis on oncology, endocrinology, rheumatology and nephrology, as well as mini‐group discussions.

Petra Weber qualified as a nurse in 1988, and then completed 5 years of further education in psychotherapy (Gestalt therapy). She also holds a university degree in social pedagogy and sociology.

Petra has been working in the field of medical market research since 1998, and has had her own company since 2000.

The focus of Petra’s work is on qualitative moderation of medical focus groups as well as individual explorations with physicians, pharmacists, nurses and patients. Her areas of special interest are psychiatry, neurology, cardiology and HIV, as well as surveys with patients and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
